Returns & refunds Overview
At Scent District, we take pride in offering authentic fragrances and carefully packaged orders. Due to the nature of our products, we maintain a structured return policy to ensure product integrity, fairness to all customers, and protection against misuse.
Return Eligibility
We accept return requests under the following conditions:
- Requests must be submitted within 14 days from the confirmed delivery date
- Items must be unopened, unused, and in their original condition
- All original packaging, seals, and contents must remain intact
Requests made beyond the 14-day window are considered outside of our return policy and may not be eligible for refund or exchange.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Opened or used products
- Items returned in damaged or altered condition
- Products marked as Final Sale
- Pre-owned products
Return Shipping & Fees
For all approved returns:
- The cost of return shipping will be deducted from the total refund amount
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
Restocking Fee
If a returned item is received:
- Opened
- Used
- Damaged
- Not in its original condition
A 20% restocking fee may be applied, or the return may be refused depending on the condition of the item.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If you receive a damaged item (e.g., defective sprayer) or an incorrect product:
- You must contact us within 48 hours of confirmed delivery
- Photo or video evidence is required to support your claim
Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
Lost or Stolen Packages
We understand that shipping issues can be frustrating and we’ll do our best to assist wherever possible.
- Orders marked as delivered by the carrier are considered fulfilled
- Scent District is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery confirmation
Shipping Insurance
Optional shipping insurance will be available at checkout. If insurance is selected, eligible claims can be processed accordingly. If insurance is declined, the customer assumes responsibility for lost or damaged shipments not covered by the carrier.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return:
- Contact us at info@scentdistrict.com with your order details
- Wait for return approval and instructions
- A return shipping label will be provided (if applicable)
- Securely package the item and send it back
- Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed
Refund Procesing
Refunds are issued to the original method of payment. Please allow 5-10 business days after the return is received and inspected.
Fraud Prevention & Product Integrity
To protect all customers and maintain the authenticity of our products, we take return verification seriously. All retuend items are carefully inspected upon arrival. We reserve the right to refuse refunds of apply restocking fees in cases where:
- Items are returned in a different condition than originally shipped
- Products appear tampered with or substituted
These measures help us ensure that every customer receives genuine, unused products and that our return process remains fair and secure.
